Halloween Humbug
About half of my students are wearing costumes today.Most of them will either be going to parties tonight or to the school dance.
They've been eating candy all day.
It's Friday. We're at the end of 11 straight weeks of school with only one day off. And somehow I still need to teach them how to complete a square so that they can take a quiz today.
There's a reason this is my least favorite school day of the year.

Is it windy, too? I always found when I was subbing that kids are INSANE when there is actual weather outside.
I always thought that Halloween was for LITTLE kids.
I guess. today, teens will use any excuse to be messin' off.
Um...the same may be true for some adults.
But bro, we have the best and Scariest Halloween (other than an IRS Agent) costumes, MATH TEACHERS!
