Sadly, we will be at the beach for the next week so posting will likely be even spottier than usual. I only hope that the ocean view, the seafood, and the boogie boarding will help take my mind off of how much I will miss Fresno.

Yes, I agree, missing Fresno is a hardship.
Hopefully you were at the beach when it was 105 (or higher, depending on whose thermometer you were reading) back home. Makes me not miss Fresno in any way.

To "Mayor of Blakersfield"...are you REALLY from Buck Owens country? If so, the air isn't that much better down there...

No I am not from Bakersfield, but my roommate is. The joke started with me kidding with him that I was going to one day take over his hometown and add a "L" to rename it "Blakersfield". I am originally from the Bay Area (city of Concord).
