...and No Thanks
He's a highly touted rookie. He made his long-awaited major league debut yesterday, giving up only five hits over five innings and earning the win.
He is, by all accounts, a great guy.
But I don't want Homer Bailey on my team either.

Who *are* all these people?
Do you have a list of who you want to be on your team?
Yes, I do, Blake. And it includes Dan Haren.
Wendy, you're hopeless.
But why would you want to imagine up your own baseball team if you could just go see a game or, better yet, watch one on the TV?
I love bb, but not much of it here. But a FRENCH guy was supposed to go in the draft (has it already taken place?) It would be a first for France.
Were those REAL people?
I agree with Wendy - why make up a team when you can watch one on TV? Kinda like...buying socks in the store instead of knitting them.
And who's Dan Harem...I mean Haren?
(How 'bout them Angels?)
Don't have a clue what this is all about other than baseball, but just wanted you to know I was here!
What is the scoop on Homer Bailiey other than winning his first MLB start and going 6 and 1 in AAA?
Nice baseball names. Of course other names to avoid in your pitcher would include balk and beaner.
Ah, thanks Randy. Now "me" understand. I thought you didn't want "Homer" on your team because you were "Homer-phobic?"
Homer Bailey sounds like a "keeper" to me...but then, what do I know? I'm just a gal.
Wow this became a popular topic. Dan Haren is good choice. :)
A cartoon for you, Steve:
