Sadly, I can almost visualize exactly how all of the game mechanics would work. Something like Roller Coaster Tycoon, but trying to attract churchless evangelicals with money (do you even lure them away from other churches - decreasing their market share?) instead of kids with money. You build, collect money, build, collect money - never ends.
It might actually be fun, in a really twisted way.
However, I also still stand by my post a few weeks back - we all need to back off on the megachurch bashing, including e-church.
Just too many typos in that last one :] Last one of those games I played was Dinopark, which I'm sure has some kind of theological humor behind it, if it wasn't so true sometimes.

Did you notice this feature:
Choose a denomination (Lutheran, Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal plus many more obscure factions)
You know what that makes us don't you?
I'm feeling very "obscure" right now. I always knew we were a "faction!"
Cecil, if we were a faction I know what our motto would be:
"The Church of Christ: We put the FACT in FACTION!"
I wish this thing were real. I think it would be a kick. All you have to do is get past that whole "saving souls for points" thing.
To alter a Bill Murray quote in "Stripes" -
"That's the facts Jack, I mean Steve."

Will there be a "smite" button? :)
Wendy, very nice comment regarding the "smite" button! Outstanding!
Steve, I can think of no reason why you should not purchase this game.
Tim, greetings my long-lost friend.
Now that's funny...
