Hyperbole
The gregarious and spherical former manager of the Dodgers, Tommy Lasorda, was asked recently for his feelings on a potential Angels/Dodgers World Series.Lasorda responded, "It would be the greatest thing that has ever happened."
I've spent my morning trying to think about all the things that have ever happened and decide if, in fact, any were ever greater than this. I've come up with a few so far.

I think you know how I feel about this Steve as I could certainly think of AT LEAST one thing that wuold be even better!
Don't keep us in suspense...WHAT would those "few things" BE, Steve? I'm sure they are of a spiritual nature, of course - Angels are spiritual!
If the Cardinals were on one side of that equation........that would be better!
