Ryan Seacrest is a Big Meanie

Ryan, you big faux-hawk wearing mean person, that was just nasty. Michael Johns seems like a good guy and he gave some of the best performances of the season. The way you teased him before giving him the ol' heave-ho was totally uncalled for. I just switched to the Simon side of your little feud. What is your talent anyway? Hosting??

I can't believe I'm watching American Idol. I really can't believe I'm watching it and getting emotionally invested.

The only ones more surprised than Micheal that he was leaving, rather than Carly or Siesha, were Carly and Siesha. I thought his performance of Dream On was outstanding, but for some reason he got bad comments from the judges. Funny thing is, he lost but he will now have a really good chance to be a huge star. Why do we care so much? Reality!?

This is only my third season to watch AI and the longer this season goes, the less interested I am in who wins. In the past it seems some of the better stars were not the winners. Case in point: Kellie Pickler. She's great! Her CD is excellent and I'll buy her next one the day it comes out. I think Michael will have a good shot at being a star if he pursues it.

Go ahead and correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't an American Idol be, well, American?

Wendy's comment (just kidding btw) makes me want to sing, "God Save the Queen."

I agree Math Bro - what is up with our Host? Ryan has made some comments towards Simon that border if not are vulgar. Then again, they could be playing us which would make AI nothing more than a glorified "Professional Wrestling Show."

I can't believe YOU are watching American Idol! Maybe all of us have this - THING - deep inside that longs to be on that stage, so we live this "thing" vicariously via American Idol.

Maybe next on the TV-fare docket is some sort of reality program that follows several minor league baseball players' quest to the MLB!
Ya think that would be do-able?

Welcome to the dark side of Simon lovers. He's made out to be such a bad guy, but the truth is that he's a very generous man. At least he HAS an opinion. I shake my head each week as Paula echoes whatever Randy has said. This is only the 3rd season I've watched - I became hooked the night Rod Stewart performed a couple of years ago. :o) I do have to say this year isn't doing much for me and I find myself Tivo'ing through to the end.

Dude... Idol?
I mean yeah, I totally understand watching some shows just to spend time with the wife; but Idol?
Man, your gonna need to come over to my place and watch some Bruce Lee movies to counteract that.

We know Randy is going to say it was pitchy.

We know Paula is going to say something stupid.

We know Simon is going to say the truth.

Notice how all the contestants really only care what Simon says.
